three I continents. It will take 5 1/2 hours to fly to San Francisco and then 13 hours to Beijing. With just about 2 hour layovers in each airport , we will then take 7 hours to fly to Bangkok where something different will happen. Our last flight was changed that gives us a 10 hour layover in this airport. Luckily they have a hotel in the international terminal so we have a room booked. However, we can only stay six hours because of their rules. At least we can shower and sleep in a bed for a few hours. On Friday morning we will begin our last 7 hour flight to Perth Australia. We plan to stay near the port and adjust to the 14 hour time difference before boarding the plane. We have been in the air for 15 minutes and John, Rose, and Suzie are asleep. I guess it's time for me to try and sleep. π
Rose and Suzie Steward will join us on a wonderful adventure to Australia and Papua New Guinea. We plan to experience many new things like riding a camel along the beach at sunset and to snorkel in the beautiful blue waters of the Great Barrier reef. For 14 days we will sail from the West coast of Australia to Brisbane. From there we will spend the remaining 11 days traveling to the various islands of Papua New Guinea. We can't wait to their summer with sunny skies and hot temperatures!

ReplyDeleteI neglected to sign up for the email notice so I just decided to check. There you are with some great stories and photos as usual. What and Dventure and no ship yet. By now you should be aboard and relaxing. I signed on tidal for the email notice so I won't be behind during your trip. So glad John got his wallet back. Yes it is snowing here and 20 degrees.some typos here but I think you understand. I am looking forward to watching the Australian tennis open on tv. I am pretty sure it takes place in Melbourne way east of where you are now. Bye for now.
ReplyDeleteYou would think here in Texas would warm and sunny but it just started snowing yesterday and hanging around in high teens and low twenties. Good luck on your adventures tomorrow and tell papa to check his pants for his wallet in the morning
ReplyDeleteLove you Cameron
Papa says, remember he won the chess match. Don't worry I will remind papa about the wallet. You are the best kid at writing on the blog. You are in the lead. ππππππ
